The LM63615DQPWPRQ1 is an easy-to-use, synchronous, step-down DC/DC converter designed for rugged automotive applications. The LM636x5-Q1 can drive up to 1.5-A or 2.5-A of load current from an input of up to 36 V. The converter has high light load efficiency and output accuracy in a small solution size.

 

The LM63615DQPWPRQ1 is available in the HTSSOP 16-pin power package, with PowerPAD™ , and the WSON 12-pin power package.


The LM63615DQPWPRQ1 device is a synchronous peak-current-mode buck regulator designed for a wide variety of automotive applications. The regulator automatically switches modes between PFM and PWM, depending on load.At heavy loads, the device operates in PWM at a constant switching frequency. At light loads, the mode changes to PFM with diode emulation, allowing DCM. This reduces the input supply current and keeps efficiency high.
